Shop Assistant Manager
A qualified candidate for the shop assistant manager position has the ability to multitask, be well organized, lift up to 100 pounds, be active all day long, and enjoy a wide variety of tasks as needed. A previous knowledge of small engines, and shop management is preferred.
To be a crew leader you must have substantial landscaping experience and preferably a background of previous management/foreman (or forewoman) experience. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of best landscaping practices, and be able to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly, and think on their feet.
The duties of our lawn technicians include: driving to customer homes/properties and staying on task will undertaking the lawn aeration, fertilization, spraying of weeds, insect control, and other lawn related services and lawn diagnostic responsibilities. On the job training is offered to successful applicants. Must be reliable and desire to work in all weather conditions.
Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader
Ideal candidates for this position will be able to work independently, and reliably get the job done. Must be able to communicate clearly with clients, and work well with others. Must be confident in ability to repair all aspects of irrigation systems. These repairs include but are not limited to; lateral and mainline repairs, valve and manifold construction, wiring troubleshooting, valve locating/repair, clock programming and troubleshooting, proper system design and installation techniques. Have a complete understanding of water efficient products available and their proper use.
Must have a thorough understanding of sprinkler systems, and the ability to reliably perform the tasks associated with repairing and installing a sprinkler system. For the right candidate, on the job training will be provided.
Small Engine Mechanic
We are looking for either a part time mechanic or a full time employee that can do between 25 – 35 hours of mechanic work and 10 – 15 hours a week in a different role such as crew foreman, sprinkler or chemical applicator, or lawn technician.
Qualified applicants will ideally be a seasoned mechanic with experience working with commercial mowers, ATVs, weed-eaters, edgers, blowers, truck maintenance and repair, and Mig/Tig welding. Candidate must have ability and knowledge to accurately and timely service and maintain all vehicles and equipment including but not limited to Fords and Chevrolet Pickups, standing/walk-behind/ride-on commercial mowers, ATV, weed-eaters, edgers, and blowers. Ideal candidate would be a self-starter, have a high attention to detail and great time-management and effective communication skills.
